Nadia School of Music

Terms of service:

It is our aim as teachers to give our students a balanced repertoire of music theory and technical knowledge, for a well rounded music education. We believe that all students have the potential to make beautiful music, and we love introducing our students to the world of music. Our motto is "teaching music with passion!".

Nadia School of Music will provide a private 30/45/60 minute music lesson upon receipt of payment. Please contact us by phone or email to schedule lesson times. Unused lessons will expire one year from the date of purchase. You can request a full refund for unused lessons within 30 days of the purchase date.

Nadia School of Music can not guarantee our teachers' availability for a specific lesson time upon request. If, in two months' time, we aren't able to schedule a lesson time, you have the right to request your money back.

Nadia School of Music is closed during main holidays (Labor day, Halloween (after 5 pm), Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, New Year, Spring break, Memorial Day Weekend and the 4th of July). We base our schedule off of James City County public schools, in Virginia. These days are included in the monthly tuition, and there will be no makeups for these days.

The first missed lesson due to bad road conditions is included in tuition. We offer makeup lessons, if it happens for a second time or more, in a calendar year. We offer 4 makeup lessons for the calendar year (September - June). If you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 24 hours in advance of class time in order to have a studio credit, valid for 90 days. Lessons missed due to a teacher's unavailability, will be made up, in addition to the 4 makeup lessons.

An adult over the age of 21 should be present at all times during lessons. Parents will provide an instrument in good condition, purchase music books/supplies as necessary, support the fulfilling of the student's responsibilities and encourage progress. Daily practice must be free of distractions. If the student is using an electronic keyboard, adjust the height for comfortable practice.

If you decide to stop taking lessons, we will refund the rest of your money.* Lessons may be terminated by the teachers of Nadia School of Music if the student is irregular in attendance, repeatedly fails to prepare assigned material, or if personality problems arise between the student and the teacher.
